Comprehensive abortion care services in the public sector: The Aurangabad model

In Aurangabad, like most districts in India, safe and legal abortion services are not readily available, especially to poor and rural women. Ipas, as a part of the consortium for safe abortions in India, piloted a district level model for Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC) services in the public health system for improving access and awareness of safe and legal abortion services in Aurangabad district.
