IDF Bulletin

Renewed Collaboration to Expand Safe Abortion Access in Bihar

Taking forward its partnership of over a decade with the State Health Society, Bihar for implementation of Yukti Yojana program, IDF and State Health Society Bihar signed a memorandum of understanding until September 2025. Initiated in 2010, Yukti Yojana is a flagship public-private partnership for safe abortion that is recognized at various national platforms as a successful, replicable innovation.

The collaboration reiterates our mutual commitment to expanding safe abortion access and improving women’s health in the state, and we look forward to continuing this important work together.
