We assist the federal and state governments in delivering choice-based family planning services at all levels.
We are keenly focused on improving health and lives of young women and girls by increasing their agency to access SRH services.
We are technical partners to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for implementation of laws and policies related to abortion and contraception.
We conduct robust research to identify community and health system needs; and community-based evaluations to assess impact of our interventions.
We are piloting new technology-based community outreach strategies to meet the evolved needs of women and girls
#Voices2021: Conversations on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights
IDF organised a digital storytelling campaign, aimed at bringing in diverse voices, easier vocabulary, and clear information around the arc of sexual and reproductive health—specifically abortion—for the younger masses. The campaign was developed in creative collaboration with Newsworthy, founded by Anubha Bhonsle; and saw eminent speakers, luminaries, experts and youth icons the likes of Aditi Mittal, Indu Harikumar, Vrinda Grover, Sadam Hanjabam, Anand Sinha, Paromita Vohra and many more, joining the platform to share their experiences. The two-month long campaign culminated with a webinar attended by over 125 participants. Catch the highlights of #Voices2021 here https://youtu.be/sjGiNS83duE
